Production
The Italian tomatoes are harvested, washed, and finely sieved to remove skin and seeds. The resulting pulp is concentrated to achieve a dry matter content of 2830%. The finished tomato paste is then pasteurized at approximately 90?°C and filled into tubes.
Tips for preparation
The tomato concentrate is ideal for Mediterranean dishes or as a base for refined tomato sauces.
