What makes this pasta special is the collaboration between Naturata and the farmers, based on years of personal contact with the Demeter producers' association. Every year, reliable quantity commitments and purchase agreements are agreed upon in a meeting with all the farmers, providing planning security for the partners. For over 30 years, the spelt for Naturata pasta has come from this Demeter producers' association in the Swabian Alb region of Baden-Württemberg.

The soil and weather conditions on the Alb are well-suited for traditional spelt varieties such as Oberkulmer Rotkorn. These spelt varieties have been the primary choice for Naturata pasta since its inception. The spelt is then processed into pasta just a few kilometers away.

Durum wheat pasta – Italian pasta made in Germany

Durum wheat is an ideal raw material for pasta, also known as Italian pasta. Naturata durum wheat pasta is made with 100% durum wheat from farmers in the Italian Piedmont region who operate according to Demeter guidelines.

For over 30 years, Naturata has sourced its durum wheat from these partners, operating on the basis of long-term purchase agreements. Careful processing and Demeter-certified raw materials contribute to the characteristic firm texture and excellent cooking properties of Naturata pasta.

Rice Pasta – Gluten-Free

Rice has thrived in the fertile plains of northern Italy for centuries. The organically grown rice used in Naturata rice pasta also comes from this region or, depending on harvest conditions, from neighboring EU countries.
