The story of Naturata AG
The first wholesale and import companies specialising in the production and supply of organic goods got off the ground at the beginning of the 1970s. In 1976, the Naturata idea was born with the aim of providing wholefood retailers with a reliable supply of high-quality Demeter (still its infancy) and organic products.
Initially, Naturata eG operated as a wholesaler on the fledgling organic market. Many products, which were not yet available as organic varieties, were developed and marketed by Naturata. From its original role as a wholesaler, Naturata has continuously developed into the premium wholefood brand it is today.
We have grown steadily since the Naturata concept was first conceived in 1976. Today, Naturata AG is a leading international supplier of biodynamic and organic food products. Around 250 premium-quality products are offered under the Naturata brand. Our headquarters are now located in Marbach am Neckar—famous as the home of Friedrich Schiller—following our relocation from Murr in 2012.
