Production
Before pressing, the wheat germ is dried at a maximum of 80°C. The wheat germ oil is obtained from the first pressing. Finally, it is filtered until clear and then bottled.
Tips for preparation
Wheat germ oil is only suitable for cold dishes since most of the valuable ingredients are lost when heated. The delicious, wheat-like flavour of the oil adds an individual, savoury note to all salads and dressings, raw foods and dips. It also tastes delicious in muesli, quark and other desserts. After cooking, it can also be added to soups and sauces or drizzled onto still-warm vegetable dishes.
