Togo fine dark chocolate 65 %

EAN-Code: 4024297020332

Selected origin: Small-farmers' cooperatives in south-western Togo grow cocoa – generally the Forastero and Criollo varieties – for this fine, dark chocolate. The cocoa plants grow there in the shade of larger trees. Directly after harvesting, the cocoa is fermented using traditional methods and dried in the sun.

The secret of the melt-in-the-mouth sensation and unique taste lies in the special manufacturing process: in the Swiss tradition, the highly skilled chocolatiers have created a chocolate which melts on your tongue, thanks to the particularly long choching process.

As with all Naturata chocolate, the natural recipe contains only Fairtrade ingredients from 100 % certified organic production ? no artificial aromas or emulsifiers!

Features:

The raw materials from certified organic production form the basis of all Naturata chocolate. The independent Fairtrade Mark guarantees the consumer that both the cocoa and the sugar in this chocolate comply with international Fairtrade standards. The raw cane sugar used comes mainly from the "Manduvirá" small-farmers' project in Paraguay. By enjoying Naturata chocolate, you are playing your part in promoting fair collaboration.

Climate-friendly product: In cooperation with myclimate, we compensate for all CO2 emissions generated during the production and transport of this bar. Find out more about the sponsored climate protection project at www.myclimate.org by entering the tracking number 01-20-964331.

Guaranteed GM-free: In Naturata chocolate, soya lecithin is replaced by cocoa butter. This means the chocolate is guaranteed free of genetically modified auxiliary agents and furthermore has a superior flavour.

Production

Naturata chocolate is produced using traditional methods in Switzerland: the premium ingredients from certified organic production are mixed together and crushed between rollers. Next, the mass is conched, tempered, shaped, filled, cooled and packaged.

The finest organic ingredients and tried-and-tested recipes give the chocolate its unrivalled aroma. Its tempting smoothness is a result of the conching process. Since extended conching produces a fine, delicate smoothness and the typical chocolate flavour, Naturata chocolate is conched for a particularly long time (depending on the variety, up to 72 hours).

Tips for preparation

A FAIR old treat: Naturata chocolate, made from the finest Fairtrade organic ingredients, is sweet, soft and irresistible!
