Production
Naturata's Chickpea Coffee is lovingly crafted in a small Swiss family business with a long-standing tradition.
The raw ingredients are carefully and gently roasted for approximately 1 to 2 hours at temperatures between 150200°C. To create the instantly soluble coffee substitute powder, the roasted ingredients are blended according to a precise recipe and then extracted. The resulting dark brown liquid, referred to as extract or concentrate, contains the soluble components carefully drawn from the roasted raw materials. After resting briefly in a collection basin, the extract is fed into a spray tower and atomised into a fine mist using a rotating disc. As the tiny droplets descend through the hot air, their water content evaporates. This spray-drying process gives the coffee its delicate crema. No additives are used.
Tips for preparation
Preparation: Pour 150 ml (hot) water over the contents of the sachet. Stir briefly - and it´s ready! For an extra treat, use hot milk instead of water.
