The speciality salts are packaged at the Mainfränkischen Werkstätten GmbH which offers suitable jobs for people with disabilities. Here, employees are given comprehensive, targeted support in their individual skills. Their slogan, "Unbehindert arbeiten", exemplifies their aim to help people overcome their disabilities by working independently. It underlies everyone's day-to-day activities at the workshop. The close collaboration between Naturata and other companies creates interfaces for the incorporation of people with disabilities into the job market.

Production
The refined gourmet salt consists entirely of natural, pure sea salt. The salt gets its pure, intense smoky aroma from the artisanal, cold-smoking process. It is smoked for one week over beech and fir wood which gives rise to its special, hearty and aromatic smell.
Tips for preparation
The salt is ideal for seasoning steaks and barbecue meats and adds a special note to gourmet fish dishes in particular. The delicate, smoky flavour is the perfect accompaniment to stews and egg specialities, as well as vegan and vegetarian dishes.
