Production
After harvesting, the juice of the cranberries is partly extracted and the fruit is deep-frozen. Before final processing, they are thawed, laid in apple concentrate (heated to approx. 100°C) and then slowly dried in a hot-air silo at approx. 35 °C to retain their intense colour. Then they are moistened with sunflower oil to prevent them from sticking together.
Tips for preparation
Suitable as a snack or for adding to mueslis, biscuits, desserts, fruit loaf, smoothies, confectionery and salads.
