Our responsibility to man and nature
Today’s olive growers still feel an affinity with this ancient tradition. In order to protect and preserve their native region, a number of them converted to organic farming methods some years ago.
Quality promise
Proof of this is a drop of the fruity Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Crete P.D.O. Kolymvari Hania. This is produced in the Kolymvari region of Chania, one of the most famous growing areas in Greece. The region in north-western Crete is known the world over for the outstanding quality of its products. Crete’s climate and rich, fertile soil have provided ideal conditions for the cultivation of the finest olives for many centuries. Countless generations have passed on the tradition of cultivation and processing. Even today, the farmers, who use biodynamic methods, still harvest the premium Koroneiki olives by hand and process the fruits immediately in the nearby oil mill to make top-quality olive oil.
